The team who makes it happen
Simply Gifts Market is a family centric event curated by mom and pop Pam & Peter Goslett, with more than 24 collective years of experience in the crafting space.
On offer is a perfect opportunity for locals as well as visitors to do their end of year gift shopping in a friendly, weloming and safe environment. Free from the bustling shopping centres and parking challenges, we are excited to launch our 2024 event in the magnificent leafy surrounds of Newlands.
Through our platform, we give entrepeneurs a space to showcase their own creations and handwork. We feature over 200 talented exhibitors individualy curated by our team. We offer a convenient central paypoint with credit card facilities, making it easy for customers to get all their one stop shopping done. The variety on display includes beautifully handcrafted decor, needlecraft, garden art, plants, a delectable selection of confectionery, children’s gifts, clothes and books.
Having previously co-founded one of the largest and most successful markets in the Southern Suburbs, we look forward to bringing you the same delightful experience under our new venture, the Simply Gifts Market.

I have always been slightly quirky, unique and creative. My leadership skills as a school principal for 19 years together with my creative drive has stood me in good stead. I’m happiest when surrounded by like-minded creative people, so when the opportunity of launching our exciting new venture arose, it was a dream come true. So doing this together with my wonderful, wacky hubby, our “perfect” son and his lady, I look forward to sharing this adventure with you.

Coming from an engineering background, I joined my wife in the crafting world in 1982. My happy place is to escape into my workshop for hours at a time, creating and enjoying the challenge of new projects. With our shared love for all things crafting, we were inspired to create a platform where entrepreneurs can display and market their own talents. Now, as the proud owners of the Simply Gifts Market, we are thrilled to get this journey underway!

This dynamic couple bring their ninja technical skills to the team. In addition to winning son-of-the-year award for more than 30 years, Matthew, a software engineer by day, also maintains our website and everything technical in-between. Kylie on the other hand brings a sense of humour, is supportive, encouraging and is THE better half in this duo, earning her well-deserved crown.

I am a food connoisseur, love sitting on my human’s feet and tripping them up in the kitchen is my best! I am an expert at retrieving lunchboxes out of the children’s school bags and I have been known to drag them down the passage too. EVERYONE loves me and I welcome all visitors with my favourite soft toy, Duck.
